8. An interview with a travel agent

-Hello, I am from school №1. My name is
Roman. We are going to London on a two
days trip. May I ask you some questions
about London?
Have you personally ever been to London?
What is your general opinion about it? Is it
worth seeing?
-What exactly would you advise us to see if
we in London?
Sorry, why should we start with it? What’s
unusual about it?
- Hello, of course, you are welcome.
-Yes, I’ve been here many times.
-Oh, yes. It is a wonderful city combining
ancient and modern places. It made an
unforgettable impression on me.
-Oh, let me see…It’s rather difficult to
decide… First of all you should see Big Ben.
-It’s the symbol of London. If you don’t see
Big Ben you won’t see anything. It’s the
symbol of Britain as the Spasskaya Tower in
Russia. More than that Big Ben is one of the
biggest clock in the world.

9. An interview with a travel agent

-I’ve heard that the Tower is worth seeing
too. There are many legends connected with
it.
-They say there are ghosts in it… Is it so?
-I suppose, Anne Boleyne, Catherine
Howard, Jane Grey are among them.
-
-
So, you advise us to visit Big Ben and the
Tower…
-
Thank you for your interview. It was great
to talk with you.
-
You are right! The Tower is one of the best
tourist attractions in London. Once it was a
fortress, a castle, and even a Zoo.
God knows. Many People were executed
there. May be their spirits are still there.
Perhaps..
I think that the Trafalgar Square is a
splendid place to walk around too. There
you can see Nelson column with four
bronze lions at the bottom of the
monument. This monument is devoted to
Trafalgar Battle.
That’s O’K. You are welcome.

10. A letter from my friend

Dear Roman,
Just writing you to say “thank you” for
your letter. You ask me what to see in London if you
have only two days.
If I were you I’d visit Trafalgar Square. The Tower is
a very interesting sight of London, too. It’s towers are
nice to be visited. Here the Jewelry room is situated. I
know that your hobby is connected with history ,so, it
will be useful and pleasant for you at the same time.
Hope to see you soon in London. Say hello to your
mum.
Yours, Sam Watson.

11. CONCLUSION:

London
is famous for Big Ben &
Trafalgar Square.
London is the best place to visit and
to admire.
It is better to see once than hear .
Let’s visit London some day.
