certain night dead spirits came back to
earth. And people held a festival. It
was on Ocober. 31st.

The main Halloween activity for
children is trick or treating. Children
dress in costumes and masks and go
from door to door saying “trick or
treat”.
You have to give them a treat: some
fruit, sweets or chocolate. If not they’ll
play trick on you.

Symbols of Halloween: spiders, skeletons, black cats, bats,
ghosts, witches
The Halloween colors are orange and black.

Families carve their pumpkins.
Some people carve funny pumpkins faces and place the pumpkins in windows,
in the yard or on doorsteps.
