This is a novel by Mark Twain,
which is a continuation of the
story “ The adventures of Tom
Sawyer”. The novel was
published in 1884 in the UK

Mark Twain was an opponent of
racism and slavery, and through the
mouths of his heroes declares this
from the pages of the novel. Mark
Twain’s opinion was irritable for his
contemporaries. Mark Twain treats
this with irony.

At the end of the 20th century, some words
commonly used at the time of the book’s
creation began to be considered racial
insults. “The Adventures of Huckleberry
Finn”
were removed from the program of some
USA schools for allegedly racist
statements.
This first happened in 1957 in New York
State.

And yet the novel was finally published
on December 10, 1884 in Canada and
England and on February 18, 1885 in the
USA
