What about your childhood?I was born on June 19, 1995 in Bugulma.
At the age of 7, I started boxing. After a
while,I also started going to the pool. Lilia
Smirnova was my first coach. By the 4th
grade, I decided to focus on swimming. In
Bugulma I graduated from Lyceum No. 2, and
"Volga State Academy of Physical Culture,
Sports and Tourism" in Kazan.

What can you say about yourhobbies?
How can I be ready for a normal life
when I'm at the training camp all
year? I like to read Starikov and Pikul,
collect Rubik's cubes. I prefer to spend
my free time reading books. I even
memorized Sergey Yesenin's poems
by heart.

Сan you tell us about yourparents?
Мy father, Vladimir Anatolyevich, and my
mother, Tatyana Gennadievna, work in the
oil industry, like many people in Bugulma.
The city has TatNIPIneft and TNG. My
parents didn’t offer me to follow my own
path, but I studied the first course at the
Geophysical Faculty of Kazan Federal
University. I still consider Bugulma my
home and strive to come there as soon as
possible. My parents and sister live there.

- I never got hung up on this.Look at our team. Many began
to study in closed military
camps, where they are still
allowed only with passes. There
is nothing to talk about here.
Bugulma in comparison with
these cities can be called the
capital.
- Do you consider it a success that you
managed to get into the Russian
national team from the 25-meter pool?
