I came from the town of Kasimov.
Kasimov it is located on the left bank
of the Oka River.

The population as of January 1st ,2019 is estimated at 29700
people. Kasimov it was founded in 1152.His former names
until 1376-Gorodets Meshchersky, until 1471-New
Grassroots Town.

The main enterprise of the town is state Prioksky non-ferrous
metals plant, specialising in processing of precious metals.

Kasimov has a river port, which is main tourist gate of
the town.

In the town operates The Kasimov Hictorical and Culture
Museum-Reserve, located in the Alyanchikov mansion

An exposition dedicated to the ethnography of the
Kasimov Tatars is located in the building of the
Khan's Mosque.

Also open are museum of folk crafts, the Utkin
brothers, the Russian Samovar Museum and the
Kasimov Bell Museum.

I have lived in Kasimov for all my 18 years.
I also finished school number 1.

Canal street is considered the best street in the
small town of Kasimov. Its length is more than
2 kilometers along the very bank of the Oka
River. The "Water Gate" (or "Petrovskaya
Zastava")became the business card of the city

In 2015 , Kasimov was included in the family of
tourist routes "Golden Ring of Russia" .
I like my hometown very much.
