Airship
An airship is a type of
lighter-than-air aircraft
that can navigate through
the air under its own
power. In early airships, the
lifting gas used was
hydrogen, due to its high
lifting capacity and ready
availability.

Inventor Ferdinand von
Zeppelin full name
Ferdinand Adolf Heinrich
August von Zeppelin. He
born in July 8, 1838 in
Germany and die in March
8, 1917. He build his firs
airship in year 1900.

Airship
It had a solid steel frame,
large hydrogen bags and
passenger cabin. The
second largest airship was
called Hindenburg. The
Hindenburg airship was
destroyed by fire while
landing at the airport.
