This is headquarters where Winston
Churchill worked. This bunker was built
in 1939. Cabinet meetings were held
here. Here issues related to the war were
resolved.

The bunker was poorly protected, as it was
located at a depth of 5 meters. Churchill
was indignant and in 1940 the bunker was
reinforced.

Interesting exhibits
Inside the museum there is a labyrinth of
rooms where people lived and worked during
the war. The largest room is the Assembly Hall,
where ministers and generals gathered. At the
head of the table is Churchill's chair. Also there
are many personal things of Churchill. In some
rooms of the museum, mannequins imitate the
activities of typists and cryptographers.
