Public Administration is a field of political science that
plans organizes, directs, coordinates, and controls
operations at government, public sector, and non-profit
organizations. The government grants public
administrators the authority to advise policymakers
based on observations of constituent populations and
society. Public administration is practiced at the local,
state, national, and international levels, with different
policy goals at each level
Public management is meant to improve the
quality and efficiency of services delivered by
public organizations. Public managers carry
out the managerial operations of public
organizations, interpret the public policy to
implement public services in ways that are
expected to achieve the most desirable
outcomes for the interests they serve.
Public administration focuses on producing public policies and coordinating public programs. Public
management is a sub-discipline of public administration that involves conducting managerial activities
in public organizations. Management is concerned with planning and taking action, while administration
relates to the application of policies that dictate how management personnel should act. Public
management is a hands-on approach that focuses on the daily tasks involved with rolling out policies,
whereas public administration prioritizes controlling the hierarchies, rules, and regulations that
contribute to instituting the public policy.

management of an organization’s
resources to achieve its goals and
objectives. Strategic management
involves setting objectives,
analyzing the competitive
environment, analyzing the
internal organization, evaluating
strategies, and ensuring that
management rolls out the
strategies across the organization.
Personnel management is the
planning, organizing,
compensation, integration, and
maintenance of people for the
purpose of contributing to
organizational, individual and
societal goals. It is primarily
concerned with human resource of
an organization.
Performance management is a
corporate management tool that
helps managers monitor and
evaluate employees' work.
Performance management's goal is
to create an environment where
people can perform to the best of
their abilities to produce the highestquality work most efficiently and
effectively.
Risk management is the
identification, evaluation, and
prioritization of risks followed
by coordinated and economical
application of resources to
minimize, monitor, and control
the probability or impact of
unfortunate events or to
maximize the realization of
opportunities.
Financial Management means
planning, organizing, directing and
controlling the financial activities
such as procurement and utilization
of funds of the enterprise. It means
applying general management
principles to financial resources of
the enterprise
Time management is the
process of planning and
exercising conscious control
of time spent on specific
activities, especially to
increase effectiveness,
efficiency, and productivity.
