Hathaway dated for almost 4 years Italian businessman
Raffaello Foglieri (English, accused of embezzling $ 50
million donated by billionaire Ronald Burkle (English) to the
Catholic Church Relief Fund. Hathaway was a co-founder
of this and some other funds. The actress's personal diaries
were attached to case as evidence for the prosecution,
but the actress herself was not charged.
Shortly after breaking up with Raffaello Foglieri, Hathaway
began dating actor and jewelry designer Adam Shulman.
In November 2011, the couple announced their
engagement. On September 29, 2012, they got married
on a private estate in the small town of Big Sur, California.
On March 24, 2016, the couple had a son, Jonathan
