Fanfiction has its own rules that each author should follow.
Any fan fiction site has a certain form to fill in to submit a fanfic. If it’s fulfilled
incorrectly the work may be banned or deleted.
In the submission form concerning basic information about a work the
following things should be mentioned:
- the name of the fanfic;
- the name of its author and his/her coauthors if there are any (real names or
nicknames);
- the name of the translator/ translators (for fanfics translated);
- the name of beta reader (a person who helped to edit the work according to
the rules of spelling, punctuation, etc.);
- etc.

11.

Fanfics are normally copyright, so if one writer publishes a work, which
originally belongs to a different author, under his name, he is going to be
banned. There is a special line in the information form where the author
expresses his disagreement or vice versa his permission to reproduce the
materials contributed on different Internet sites or in some other sources.
Fan fiction is rarely commissioned or authorized by the original work's
creator or publisher, and is rarely professionally published. It may or may
not infringe on the original author's copyright.
