Prince Philip is the

Greek island of Corfu.

expelled from Greece when he
was eighteen months old.
Educated in France, Germany
and the United Kingdom, he
joined the Royal Navy in 1939
when he was 18 years old.

Elizabeth and Philip first met in 1934 at
the wedding of Philip's cousin. In 1946,
the young man asked his beloved's father
for a marriage license. The wedding of
Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip took
place on November 20, 1947.
