DEFINITION
Glacier - the mass of ice of atmospheric origin mainly experiencing
viscoplastic gravity and take the form of stream flow system, dome
(shield) or a floating slab.
Glaciers are formed by the accumulation and subsequent conversion
of solid precipitation (snow) in their positive long-term balance.
This presentation presents the 9 most rapidly disappearing glaciers of
the world as of September 2015.

The Glaciers Of The Himalayas

–India.The Western region of the state of Himachal Pradesh.The glacier
is retreating every year almost a meter. Over the past 10 years, the
thickness of some of the glaciers has decreased by almost half.
According to some reports, the glaciers of Tibet, the Himalayas,
including Mount Everest, will disappear by 2035.
