Vinsent's parents and sibling didn't like him
because he usually was serious, thoughtful and
didn't play with other children. And Vinsent told
about his childhood like this: ''My childhood
was dark, cold and empty''.
On this picture he is 18 years old.

The first painting which he sold for much
money was the Red vineyards in Arles.
