Inspiration for this shoot:
The concept of “trend” is fascinating...
Why people accept or reject certain things can tell us a lot about the individual,
a group of people and even society at large.
Just like fashion, food is susceptible to our fleeting demands and desires.
Exploring and pairing trends in popular culture with food trends might help us
to discover something new about the world we live in, and hopefully about ourselves as well.
For Tarot Tea time, I am pairing two trends that have been around for some time now:
1. A fashion trend: The Modern Mystic (all things witchy and other worldly)
2. A lifestyle trend: Wellness (subcategory- activated charcoal food additive)
With the mash up of tarot and black health foods I hope to explore the connections between the two trends.
