DCU
The Data Converting Unit can receive signals from 16 IEC 61162-1/-2NMEA
sources. The signal level can be RS232 or RS485.
AMU
The input of Audio Mixer Unit can be up to nine controlled microphones and
three standard and two non-standard VHF. All input voice frequency signal is
mixed into four audio channels in AMU. All of these four audio channels will
be recorded by VDR.
VMU
The input of Video Multiplexer Unit can be up to four radars or other video
signals (ECDIS, Conning display etc) . the VDR will gather and store one of
them according it’s configuration which can be changed by operator. The VMU
can distribute the 24V DC from PSU to other parts of system, and also transfer
pulse signal of LOG to SIU.
SIU
The System Integration Unit includes the processor, sound card, video grabber
card, USB card and internal memory for supervising of the VDR System.
ETU
The Ethernet switch Unit is for all external and internal Ethernet
communication.
DC/DC Converter
A separate DC/DC converter supplies the MU boards with needed DC power.
