Казанского и Астраханского
ханств. Контроль над всем
течением Волги и путь к
Каспийскому морю.
· 1581-1585 гг. — Начало покорения
Сибири. Поход Ермака.
· Конец XVI - нач. XVII вв. — Потеря
выхода к Балтийскому морю и
западных земель в Смутное время.

7. XVIII век: Выход к морям и разделы Речи Посполитой

· Присоединение территорий на Северо-Западе (Великая Северная война 1700-1721):
По итогам войны со Швецией и Ништадтского мирного договора (1721) Россия
закрепила за собой Лифляндию, Эстляндию, Ингерманландию (Ижорскую землю),
часть Карелии и острова Эзель и Даго. Был основан Санкт-Петербург (1703), а Россия
получила надежный выход к Балтийскому морю.
· Южное направление (Русско-турецкие войны):
В результате войн с Османской империей (особенно в правление Екатерины II) по
Кючук-Кайнарджийскому (1774) и Ясскому (1791) мирным договорам Россия
присоединила территории Северного Причерноморья (Новороссия) и Крым (1783).
Был основан Севастополь, а Россия получила выход к Черному морю.
· Западное направление (Разделы Речи Посполитой):
В результате трех разделов (1772, 1793, 1795) совместно с Пруссией и Австрией к
России отошли обширные земли Восточной Белоруссии, Правобережной Украины,
Литвы и Курляндии.

8. XIX век: Кавказ, Дальний Восток и Средняя Азия

Кавказ:
· В результате продолжительных Кавказских войн (1817-1864) и русско-персидских (1804-1813, 18261828) и русско-турецких (1806-1812, 1828-1829) войн к России были окончательно присоединены
Грузия, Восточная Армения, Азербайджан и весь Северный Кавказ.
Дальний Восток:
· Благодаря экспедициям (Г.И. Невельской) и дипломатии (Н.Н. Муравьев-Амурский) по Айгунскому
(1858) и Пекинскому (1860) договорам с Китаем к России отошли Приамурье и Приморье. Был основан
Владивосток (1860).
Средняя Азия (Вторая половина XIX века):
· В ходе военных походов были завоеваны и добровольно вошли в состав империи обширные
территории: Казахстан (завершился к 1860-м), Кокандское ханство, Бухарский эмират, Хивинское
ханство. Границы России вышли к границам Британской Индии (Афганистан).
Продажа Аляски (1867):
· Единственная крупная территориальная потеря в этот период — продажа Аляски США за 7,2 млн
долларов.

9. Рубеж XIX-XX веков: Завершение формирования границ

К началу XX века территория России достигла своих
максимальных размеров.
Активно осваивалась Сибирь и Дальний Восток
(строительство Транссибирской магистрали).
Сферой интересов оставалась Маньчжурия (КВЖД) и
Корея, что привело к Русско-японской войне (1904-1905).
Поражение в войне не повлекло крупных территориальных
потерь (был утрачен юг Сахалина и влияние в
Маньчжурии), но обозначило пределы экспансии на
Дальнем Востоке.

11. Великое расширение (1939-1945 гг.)

1)Присоединение западных земель: В 1939-1940
годах в состав СССР вошли Западная Украина,
Западная Белоруссия, республики Прибалтики
(Литва, Латвия, Эстония) и Молдавия.
2) Калининградская область (бывшая часть
Восточной Пруссии).
Курильские острова и южная часть Сахалина
(были отвоёваны у Японии).

На несколько десятилетий границы СССР стали одними из самых стабильных и
укреплённых в мире. Они разделяли две противоборствующие политические и
экономические системы — социалистическую во главе с СССР и
капиталистическую во главе с США. Этот период известен как «Холодная
война».
2) 2) Важная особенность: Границы были не просто линией на карте, а настоящим
«железным занавесом» — закрытым, хорошо охраняемым и
труднопреодолимым.
