Use: plans/arrangements; evidence in the present (clouds, tickets, bookings).
Form: am/is/are + going to + V1 (base verb).
Examples: I’m going to reserve a hotel. She’s going to study abroad.

will — Use & Form
Use: promises, instant decisions, offers, predictions without strong evidence.
Form: will + V1. Contractions: I’ll, you’ll, he’ll…
Examples: I’ll help you plan ahead. I think she will achieve success.
