Sun, Andromeda, speed of light.

2. Sun

A star at the center of the solar system. Its
diameter is approximately 1,392,000 km, which is
109 times larger than Earth’s diameter. Its mass
accounts for 99.86% of the mass of the entire
solar system. The core temperature reaches 15
million degrees Celsius. Its distance from Earth
is approximately 149.6 million km (1
astronomical unit).

3. Andromeda Galaxy

• The closest large galaxy to the Milky Way. Its
distance from Earth is approximately 2.5
million light-years. Its diameter is
approximately 220,000 light-years, which is
twice the size of the Milky Way. It contains
approximately 1 trillion stars. It will collide
with our galaxy in 4–5 billion years.

4. Speed of light

• A fundamental physical constant. In a vacuum,
light travels at 299,792 km/s. This is the
fastest possible speed in the universe. Light
from the Sun reaches Earth in 8 minutes and 20
seconds, and Pluto in over 5 hours. In a year,
light travels almost 9.5 trillion km (1 lightyear).
