2. Introduction

The United Kingdom is famous not only for its history
and castles, but also for its breathtaking natural
landscapes.
I'd like to take you on a jorney through the natural
beauty of the United Kingdom, through four regions:
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

3. England – lakes, cliffs and secret gardens

The Lake District – it is a National Park in Cumbria,
has 16 large glacial lakes and rugged mountains.
The Jurassic Coast - this place like a history book.
People find rocks that are millions of yeras old there.
The Seven Sisters – iconic white chalk cliffs
overlooking the English Channel. It looks like a tall
white wall.

One of the most magical places
in England is The Lost Gardens
of Heligan (in Cornwall).
These gardens were created by
people over 400 years. They
were abandoned after World War
I and rediscovered only in
1990. This place is famous for
jungle location with
subtropical plants, the Lost
Valley, the living sculptures:
the Mud Maid (a sleeping
woman), the Giant's Head, the
Grey Lady

5. Scotland – wild highlands and mystic isles

Let's travel north to Scotland,
the land of wild nature
Isle of Skye – it is an island
with strange green mountains.
It is known for the very tall
rock – the Old Man of Storr.
Ben Nevis – it is a giant
mountain, the highest in the
United Kingdom. In the part it
was a volcano, but now it is
quiet.
Fingal's cave – it is a sea
cave on the Island of Staffa,
made of basalt columns

6. Wales – peaks and coasts

Crossing over to Wales we
encounter a land of
mountains.
Snowdonia – it is the heart
of the region. This mountain
offers breathtaking views
and historic mountain
railways.
Pembrokeshire Coast – it is
the only coastal national
park in the United Kingdom
with hidden sandy beaches
and limestone arches.

7. Northern Ireland – legends in stone

Finally we reach
Northern Ireland. It's
most famous landscape is
the Giant's Causeway – a
Unesco Site consisting
of 40 000 basalt
columns. Accodroling to
a legend it was built by
a giant.
The Dark Hedges – it is
an atmosphere avenue of
ancient beech trees.

8. Conclusion

The United Kingdom offers a rich variety of
natural wonders, from chalk cliffs to volcanic
formations and mystical gardens. It is a perfect
place for hiking and photos.
