Early life &
Sacrifice
De La Salle was born to a wealthy family in
Reims, France, on 30 April 1651. Was tonsured
and served the God since 1662
Took the degree of master of Arts and was sent
to Paris to enter the Seminary of Saint-Sulpice
on 1670, however lost both parents in two
years and obliged to leave due to
circumstances
Later met The Sisters of the Child Jesus and
helped them to educate poor girls and to open a
school
