During the Initiation of a

into "♄" (Saturn).
During the Initiation of a
spell, interpret the presence
of "⊖" (Salt) as "♄" (Saturn).
Travel quickly to and from
Death, rebuff those Foes who
stand against you within
Death, and perform the other
listed functions of your
Domain (Part 3: The Gates of
Death, page XXXX).
Extinguish all light present,
blinding all with deep
shadows, through which you
may move freely.
Silence the breeze, stilling all
sound, dampening the calls
of nature and in turn ensure
your own footsteps are silent
as you pass.
While taking the life of the
dying in your hands, grant
them safe passage into the
realms of death, and allow
them to move at peace into
what lies beyond.

The Graven Isle is the place you call home, the furthestand least hospitable island in the archipelago.

The Graven Isle is a cold and miserable place,
covered in dark clouds and filled with countless
memorials to the dead.
For as long as anyone can remember, the Graven
Isle has been the burial grounds for all of Isha's
dead, and its catacombs run deep into the
bottom of the world.
The Graven Isle was once a beautiful place and
the heart of Isha, before magical war destroyed
its towers and plunged the landscape into ruin.
A long-ago Necromancer was responsible for the
desolation of the Graven Isle, and Necromancers
dwell here still in exile from the archipelago.
No one else dares to live upon the Graven Isle,
save Ghoul-Callers, smugglers, and the diseased.
The Necromancer's Crypt sits within the Graven Isle and
serves as your private Sanctum from the outside world.

The Graven Isle
The Necromancer's crypt was once the Imperial
Palace of Isha, although now it's a rain-soaked
ruin.
The walls of the crypt are cold stone carved with
the memories of the dead, the stairways worn
away by time, filled with secret passageways
which have not seen light in hundreds of years.
The halls of the crypt are lined with the eerie
statues of the dead, which in many places plunge
beneath the water or are propped up by grim
piles of bones.
The central room is a funerary space where the
dead are brought from the other isles and left for
you to take care of.
Your living chambers are dreary and
uncomfortable, with any living occupants an
obvious afterthought.

Ishana is the core of the archipelago, a series of closely-relatedislands with a shared culture and history.
➢
➢
➢
➢
➢
Ishana is a central mountainous island surrounded by
up to fifty smaller islands, ranging from just large
enough to support a single home to a sprawling
landscape in its own right.
The center of Ishana is The Blue City, named for the
brilliantly blue shingles and lapis lazuli paints which
decorate nearly every building in the city, alongside
murals of the seas and skies.
The northern forests of Ishana are an important source
of lumber for constructing new ships, and an
especially vulnerable region to the pirates of
Scuttleport.
The Chalk Cliffs of Ishana, which run along its eastern
face, are home to goatherders, farmers, and hermits,
and legends tell of forbidden religions practiced in
those isolated communities.
The southernmost island of Ishana is the sacred isle
Tahv, a place of black beaches and a thousand shrines,
and welcome only to those permitted in the light of the
Immortal Flame.
The Hierophant's Hall sits at the edge of Ishana and serves as
your private Sanctum from the outside world.

The sanctum of the Hierophant is narrow and
cramped, with winding staircases and cramped halls.
The walls are covered in visual signs of the
eccentricities of previous Hierophants, from sweat
and blood to prophecies carved into the stone, and it is
considered blasphemy to even suggest cleaning them.
The Hall is only accessible via a small waterlogged path
that floods at high tide, which leaves it both beautiful
and frustratingly hard to travel to.
Pilgrims are constantly coming by to request miracles
and assistance with whatever minor problem is
beleaguering them on their journeys.
No one has mapped the sanctum's basement, its
tangled stairways connecting with the catacombs
beneath Ishana, and strange monsters rattle down
there at night.

The Halcyon Isles are a beautiful and serene place,
with rolling hills, sprawling gardens, and groves of
carefully-tended trees tucked away amid its towering
cliffs.
The Castle of the King looks over the Halcyon Isles, an
enormous structure of great hewn stone and bearing
countless towers and parapets overlooking the
southern seas.
It is rumored the palace was built by giants, for the
doorways are far too large for any man and the stairs
had to be carved anew. Generations of kings have
further added to the castle, with incongruous and
spectacular new wings.
The largest settlement in the Halcyon Isles is the city of
Kingsport, inhabited mostly by servants and
merchants who exist solely to cater to the nobility as a
rustic vacation town.
The Halcyon Isles require incredible amounts of
produce and manpower from the rest of the
archipelago in order to maintain the hedonistic
lifestyle of the nobles who dwell there.

The keep of the Warlock is musty and minimalist,
maintained by servants too afraid to move anything
that could be valuable.
The keep is enormous and uncomfortable, with
ceilings too tall for any human and doorways made for
giants.
The keep is covered in tapestries and trophies of wars
long forgotten, surrounding you with your own
inadequacy.
A bridge runs from the palace directly to your sleeping
chambers, allowing the King to fetch you at his whims.
Traps prepared by paranoid Warlocks previous to you
litter the lower floors and walls, and you must tread
carefully, lest you accidentally set one of them off.
