STEAM education is an educational model that develops students' STEAM literacy by integrating disciplines in
real-life problem situations. The localised development of STEAM education requires the integration of
curriculum resources and the creation of a teaching environment; the transformation of teaching methods to
cultivate students' STEAM literacy; and the acceleration of teacher training to promote the professional
development of STEAM teachers.

The aim of the master’s work is to determine the features of art disciplines integration as a component of
children's innovative learning.

5. Our study allowed us to draw the following conclusions:

The basic principles of modern children's education. Children's education is a social phenomenon and a social
activity. The principles of education are the basic laws and standards that reflect the laws of education and
govern and guide education within the education system. Part of them are common to other stages of education,
such as the principle of respect for the human dignity and legitimate rights and interests of children, the principle
of developmental appropriateness, and the principle of teaching according to the needs of the individual; the
other part are special principles that are unique to it and different from other education.

The content of the STEAM approach to education. STEAM is a multidisciplinary education concept that
consists of five disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. STEAM education is a
pedagogy that is embedded in everyday teaching and learning activities. The arts are inherently about
encouraging students to observe, listen, move and provide learners with a variety of different ways to access
information and construct knowledge.

Art education in STEAM education. The inclusion of the arts in educational concepts is important in that it
makes it easier to make these difficult concepts more approachable. The learning of the arts can enrich the
classroom and adjust the pace of the teacher's classroom. When studying any subject, especially one that is more
logical, the inclusion of artistic interpretations in the classroom can help to broaden students' minds and help to
develop their overall skills.

Integration of art subjects in STEAM education. Traditionally, science and the arts have been seen as two
separate fields in education. However, the two actually complement each other. The concept of arts integration
has been advocated by experts in the field of education and is gradually gaining attention throughout the
education sector. By enabling children to perceive works of art and the environment and nature associated with
them, they can stimulate their internal aesthetic sensibilities and enhance their aesthetic response, and arts
education makes learning more fun and enjoyable for children.
