Planning a Vacation in Almaty
● Hello everyone! Today I want to tell you about my vacation plan.
● I would like to visit Almaty, one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in Kazakhstan.
● In my presentation, I will talk about transportation, accommodation, places to visit, food,
activities and my budget.

Why Almaty?
● I chose Almaty because it is a
beautiful city surrounded by
mountains.
● Almaty has a lot of interesting
places, modern buildings, parks,
museums and shopping centers.
● The city is also famous for its
beautiful nature. There are
mountains, forest s, lakes and rivers
near the city.
● I think Almaty is a perfect place for
a vacation because you can enjoy
both the city and nature.

When Would I Go?
● I would like to go to Almaty in summer.
● Summer is a good time for travelling because the weather is usually warm and there are many
outdoor activities.
● I would stay in Almaty for 5 days.
● I think five days would be enough to see the main attractions and relax.
● I would travel with my friends or my family because travelling together is more fun.

How Would I Get There?
● I would travel to Almaty by plane.
● Travelling by plane is fast and comfortable, especially if the distance is long.
● After arriving in Almaty, I would take a taxi or use public transport to get to my hotel.
● During the vacation, I would use buses, taxis and the metro to travel around the city

Where Would I Stay?
I would stay in a comfortable hotel near the city center.
The hotel does not have to be very expensive, but it
should be clean and comfortable.
I would like my hotel to have:
- Free Wi-Fi
- Breakfast
- A comfortable bed
- A clean bathroom
- Air conditioning
- A good location
Staying in the city center would be convenient because
many interesting places would be close to the hotel.

Kok Tobe
● I would visit Kok Tobe.
● Kok Tobe is one of the most popular places in Almaty.
● I would go there by cable car and enjoy the beautiful view of
the city.
● At the top, I would take lots of photos and walk around.
● I would also have lunch there and buy some souvenirs.
● In the evening, I would return to the hotel and relax.

Medeu and Shymbulak
● I would go to the mountains.
● First, I would visit Medeu, a famous sports complex
located in the mountains.
● Then I would go to Shymbulak, a popular mountain
resort.
● I would enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.
● I would walk in the mountains, take pictures and spend
time in nature.
● This would probably be my favorite day of the vacation.

Food and Shopping
● I would have a more relaxing day.
● I would visit some cafés and restaurants and try traditional
Kazakh food.
● I would like to try:
● - Beshbarmak
● - Baursaks
● - Kazy
● - Plov
● - Kumis
● After lunch, I would go shopping.
● I would buy clothes, sweets and souvenirs for my family and
friends.

Relaxing and Going Home
● On the last day, I would have
breakfast at the hotel.
● Then I would take a final walk around
the city and take some photos.
● I would buy some last souvenirs and
prepare my luggage.
● After that, I would go to the airport
and fly home.
● I think I would feel a little sad
because the vacation would be over,
but I would have many great
memories.

● I would try to plan my budget before the trip.
● My approximate expenses for five days would be:
● Flight: about $150
● Hotel: about $200
● Food: about $100
● Transport: about $50
● Entertainment: about $50
● Souvenirs: about $50
● Total: about $600
● Of course, the real price could be different depending on
the hotel, tickets and activities.

What Should I Take?
Before travelling, I would prepare my suitcase.
I would take:
- Clothes
- Comfortable shoes
- A jacket
- A phone and charger
- Personal hygiene products
- A camera
- Some medicine
- My documents
- Some money
Because I would visit the mountains, I would also
take comfortable clothes and shoes for walking.

● To sum up, my vacation in Almaty would last five
days.
● I would visit famous places, go to the mountains,
try traditional Kazakh food and explore the city.
● I would plan my trip and budget in advance.
