students, lecturers, consultants and
psychology specialists every year.
Winter School of Psychology was
twice awarded the Golden Psychea Russia’s highest psychological award
- for the contribution to development
of Russia’s unified professional
psychological community.

Psychology of the XXI Century
International Scientific Conference
“Psychology of the XXI Century”. The
conference is one of the largest student science
projects in the field of psychology in Russia.
The conference is a platform for exchange of
experience between young scientists from
Russia and abroad.
The conference includes panel presentations,
round tables, lectures by invited specialists and
workshops.

Freshman Day
Rite of passage for psychology students held in
a countryside.
Senior students introduce freshmen to each
other, play psychological games and conduct
communication exercises.

Patronage
Senior students share their knowledge and experience
with freshmen throughout the year.
They help new students with getting used to new
realities and people of Department of Psychology.

experiments, to work with science
literature and to discuss scientific

Senior students and lecturers often visit

Monthly newspaper PsyNews is published by
Student Scientific Society of Department of
Psychology .
Any SPbU psychology student can become an
author or a member of the newspaper’s editorial
