Polymer Re-Formative Engineering
We have developed leading edge Process Engineering and
Formulations Technology able to use mixed plastic packaging waste
to manufacture inert, longer lasting, maintenance free products in
place of tropical hardwood, treated softwoods and concrete. It
offers a proven way to make environmentally sustainable products
resulting
in:
+ reducing landfill of short life plastic packaging waste
+
significantly
lowering
carbon
emissions
+ avoiding destruction of hardwood in tropical rain forests

Polymer Re-Formative Engineering
Our Re-Formative Engineering technology, developed over 8 years by Rod Fox, is a
pioneering automated process, where high volumes of domestic polymer waste are
transformed into load-bearing structural engineering components and systems,
such as coastal groynes and railway sleepers, using these polymer composites.
Production scale trials of the process were completed successfully, in conjunction
with Tarmac, a CRH Group Company, who funded this vital part of the
development.
The recycled polymer compositions were developed with over £1.8M funding by
the Innovate UK and QSTP at Sheffield and Qatar Universities, led by Professor
Alma Hodzic, who joined us in 2016 as Director of Research.

The overall commercial and highly profitable opportunity for application of these
composite formulations in civil engineering is massive and will amount to a new
multi-billion Pound industry in the U.K. alone.
The environmental impacts will surpass the financial benefits in terms of reduction
in carbon emissions from manufacturing, further restrictions in the use of harmful
creosote and the prevention of deforestation opens significant commercial export
opportunities to licence the technology.
Our research results have been published in well-cited high quality journal papers
and the current implementation of this R&D is funded by Tarmac, a CRH company.

Polymer Re-Formative Engineering
This is the first time that recycled
polymer composites are able to
match the properties of far more
expensive tropical hardwood species
and compete with treated softwood
on price.
With fibrous reinforcement, the
strength is exponentially increased
and surpasses that of the highest
grades of hardwood.

Licensing the technology in the U.K. presents an opportunity for up to 20 plants to
be built each up to 20k tonnes capacity providing licensing fee income up to £120
million during the next 15 years together with associated project management
fees adding up to a further £7-8 million.
Licensing the technology globally provides an ongoing opportunity for many more
plants to be built providing ongoing licence fee and project management income.
The market applications for these composites offer stability and growth unlike
traditional plastics recycling, where markets are controlled by its link to oil and
virgin polymer prices and the vagaries of Far East spot market trading.
Investment required is £250,000 to which an agreed shareholding in the Company
will be allocated. A detailed financial budget proposal is available to interested
parties.

Rod Fox, M.D., leads the team having more than 40 years experience in development and high profile
project management in the plastics recycling sector. In 2014 he was appointed by RSSB as the Industry
Expert representing the UK on both the European and ISO technical groups to develop standards for
polymer composite rail sleepers.
Professor Alma Hodzic, PhD ANU CEng FIMechE FRAeS FIMMM FHEA is Director of Research at
Revaluetech Ltd. specialising in the technology scale-up and commercialisation of her recycled polymer
composites research, developed and established under her leadership at The University of Sheffield
between 2005 and 2015.
William Hopkins, Commercial Director is widely experienced in commercial, financial leadership and
administration to ensure contract compliance and delivery target milestones are monitored.
Daniel Fox is an experienced engineer responsible for business development who additionally is able to
use his knowledge of quality, environmental and management standards procedures with certification
bodies wherever the Company operates.
John Russell has more than 40 years experience installing, commissioning and production of plastic
extrusion manufacturing systems for clients in the U.K. and worldwide.
