day was declared as a New Year's day in
Russia. Since then, New Year became a family
holiday for the people of Russia.

Christmas day (25 December). In 1752 the official
date of the holiday was the 1st of January. The
inhabitants of the Kingdom willingly adopted

once a year. I feel happy in this moment.
Anna: I believe in miracles, so I love the New Year
and look forward to it. I also enjoy to cook New
Year's meals with my mother and I like watch Soviet
New Year's films on TV.
