South East England is often called the "garden of
England", because it has the mildest climate in the
country, and orchards and fields extend for many
kilometers. The region is bordered by two Straits,
the English channel and Pas-de-Calais and is
renowned for its coastal resorts, the most famous
of which is Brighton.
