The goats walk to the river.

They see delicious green grass.
The goats see a long bridge on the river.
The youngest billy goat is excited.
The youngest goat runs to the bridge.

A big monster comes to the bridge.
The monster wants to stop the small goat.
The monster says: “A billy goat is a good meal.”
The small goat cries: “ Please, don’t eat me. I have two
brothers. They are bigger than me.”
Monster looks at the brothers. Monster lets the small
goat.

The middle goat watches his brother.
The middle brother walks to the bridge.
The big monster comes to the long bridge
again.
The monster wants to stop the middle goat.
The big monster says: “Oh what luck! A billy
goat is a good breakfast.
The middle goat cries: “Please, don’t eat me. I
have a bigger brother. He is bigger than me.
The monster lets the middle goat

The big goat watches his brother.
The big monster wants to stop the big goat.
The big monster says: “ Oh what luck! A big goat is a
good breakfast

The big goat cries: “Please, don’t eat me. I can’t be a
breakfast. I can be a good friend. I can be your friend
Mr. Monster.”
The big monster says: “Yes, we can be friends. I don’t
like eating a billy goat. Grass is a good
breakfast.
