We use first conditional to talk about plans or possible
future events and its results.
• The situation is always real!
If he works today, he will be free tomorrow.

If + S + Present simple , S + Future simple

+: If + S + V , S + will V .
If I don’t study hard, I won’t get a degree.
-: If + S + do not/does not V , S + will not V .
Will I get a degree, if I study hard?
?: Will + S + V , if + S + V1 ?

If you learn English, you will make friends around the world.
You will make friends around the world if you learn English.
1. You can change the order of If clause and Main clause
2. Put comma (,) only after the If clause
3. Use Present simple in If clause and Future simple in Main
clause
