Kazan is an amazing and ancient city of Russia, the capital of the
Republic of Tatarstan.
Kazan is located on the left bank of the Volga River, at the confluence of the Kazanka
River. Due to its favorable geographical location, Kazan has long been a trade
intermediary between East and West. Kazan's climate is moderately continental,
severe frosts and scorching heat are rare and not typical for the city.

My best friend is studying in Kazan, only thanks to her I came there.

Bauman street
Each city has its own unique street, where all tourist routes lead. In Kazan, such a
place is Bauman Street, which stretches for 4 km. In the old days, the Nogai road,
the main path of the Golden Horde, ran in its place. Now it houses a cluster of
attractions, museums, theaters, hotels, restaurants and shops. Life on the street
does not stop for a minute, and the flow of tourists increases every year.
This was the first place where my friends took me.
There are a lot of people, cafes and shops. Music is
playing everywhere. The most lively place in the city.

Kul Sharif Mosque
Kul Sharif Mosque, one of the most beautiful
places I have been to.
The most famous mosque in Kazan,
located on the territory of the
Kremlin. Its construction took 9
years, and was completed only in
2005. The money for the main
sanctuary was collected through
charity, and a book with the names
of everyone who donated money is
kept inside the building. The temple
took the place of the once standing
mosque of the Kazan Khanate,
destroyed by Ivan the Terrible.

Farmers' Palace
The palace built in 2010 for the
Ministry of Agriculture immediately
caused a storm of backlash. In the
opinion of most of the population,
the building does not fit into the
historical atmosphere of the city
because of its pretentious pomp.
However, tourists come to see the
beautiful Bezar-style building.
I remember this place as the most unusual.
I've never seen anything like it anywhere
else.

Kremlin embankment
The territory is divided into several thematic
zones and zones by age. There is an alley of
creativity, arts, a nursery, where there is a
nursery for toddlers. Also on the embankment
there are carousels, a steam locomotive runs, a
free library, lanterns, fountains, flower beds,
curious and original benches, cafes, events are
regularly held. In addition to a relaxing holiday,
guests are offered sports equipment for rent.
I remember this embankment the most. A lot
of people, a lot of light and entertainment.

Family center "Kazan"
Built not so long ago, namely in
2013, the center, which is the
Wedding Palace, quickly won
universal love and fame. And all
thanks to its unusual shape. The
building is created in the form of
a giant golden cauldron in which
food is prepared. The kazan
stands on a snow-white base with
high windows.
This place is one of the most comfortable for
me. Here we saw people dancing to classical
music and decided to join them.
