life?

Thank you for your letter. It was nice of you to drop me a line again. Sorry, I`ve taken
so long to answer, but I`ve been busy moving house.
In your letter you asked me about my hobbies. As we are on summer holiday now, I
can spend my time reading different books in English, because it`s my favourite
hobby, so I try to read books every day. By the way, reading in English helps to boost
your vocabulary, and I find it very beneficial.
Now I`d like to ask you about your new laptop. What brand does the laptop have?
How much does it cost? What color is your laptop?

Imagine that you are doing a project on messengers that are popular among Russian
users. You have collected some data on the subject – the results of the opinion polls
(see the table below). Comment on the data in the table and give your personal
opinion on the subject of the project.

It goes without saying that using messengers is an integral part of our lives as it is the only way of
communication at a distance. Doing this project, I have managed to gain some information about
preferences of using messengers among Russians. I am going to make a few comments on the on the
key features of the poll.
It is obvious that the most demanded messenger among Russian users is Telegram. The vast majority of
respondents decided that Pavel Durov's brainchild is the best messenger they have ever faced (75%).
Meanwhile, twitter is considered to be the worst one from the given list of the messengers in the
survey. Only 47,6 percent of the respondents say that they are using it.
As we can see from the chart, Telegram, Instagram and Twitter are at the top of the table. They were
selected by 75%, 71.5% and 68% of respondents respectively. The difference between the abovementioned competitors is insignificant. Only Facebook is placed in the middle of the list.
Actually, these messengers do not always work properly. When they stop functioning all the benefits of
online communication fade away. Another problem that may arise when using online services is that
personal data can be seen and used by cyber hackers. The only way to solve this problem is to be
careful in the net and not to share personal information.
In conclusion, I would like to say that messengers are vital for the humanity. If people stop being so
careless in the net, they will be able to use all its positive sides of these method of communication.
