The measure of modern economic development is a
radical change in the technological mode of production in
its impact on the entire economic potential of society.
Innovative transformations not only transform the
productive forces of society, but also represent a Central
link in the system of socio-economic processes.
According to the concepts of innovative development,
each new generation of innovations in technology and
technology expands its sphere of influence in social life.
Moreover, human self-organization and improvement of
the quality of life in a post-industrial society are directly
related to the possibilities of technological renewal.

3.

There are three categories of innovation:
• The first is macro innovation, which refers to completely new products or
technologies that cause radical changes in industries, the economy or society as
a whole (for example, electricity, synthetic fibers, microelectronics).
• The second category includes basic innovations. Basic innovations are
considered to be individual innovations that together give a powerful impetus to
technological development (for example, transformers, gas turbine engines,
dynamos and light bulbs are all separate basic innovations that together
produced macro-innovations in applied electrical engineering).
• The third category is innovation-modifications that are not radical enough to
affect technological progress in General. Rather, these are important
components of individual business opportunities (for example, inflatable wheel
tires, paint coatings, battery ignition, or a moving conveyor).

4.

There are two types of innovations in a particular industry: new products and
new processes. Innovation-products are improved versions of an existing
product line or completely new products. Innovation processes are aimed at
improving the production technology of certain products. The development of a
new product may or may not require a new production process. However, new
production technologies always become the basis for the production of new
products.

5.

Innovations can be used to meet any personal needs-consumer innovations.
Consumers in this case are usually individuals and families. The purpose of
consumer innovation is to increase the economic, social, and psychological effect
of using the product. Examples of consumer innovations are new types of
clothing, food, appliances, services, medicines, etc. Such innovations are not used
in scientific, technical and industrial activities.
Another type of innovation is called production (investment) innovation.
Consumers of industrial innovation can be a manufacturing enterprise, a scientific
organization, or an individual entrepreneur. The purpose of production
innovations is to increase the economic effect of the production of the enterprise
that purchased the innovation. Examples of industrial innovations are new types of
components, tools, equipment, including scientific ones, new technologies, etc.
What may be considered an innovative process in one industry may also be
considered an innovative product in another. For flexible automated production, a
new type of industrial robot is an innovative product. The same robot will be
considered a new process for its customer if it becomes an integral part of the
new production process.

1.3 D-metal printing
3D printing appeared several decades ago, but is still used today mainly by professional designers, as well
as Amateur enthusiasts who produce single prototypes. However, the execution of objects made of any
materials other than plastic for many years remained a complex and quite expensive process. But recently,
metal printing is beginning to gain momentum, becoming more affordable in financial terms and a
relatively simple method of manufacturing all kinds of parts. In the short term, this technology can, for
example, allow manufacturers to forget about inconvenient expensive rental warehouses for the
placement of parts that are intended for replacement. Now the required component can be completed
immediately upon the customer's request. In the future, it is possible to completely modify the entire
production process, significantly reducing the number of factories and, most importantly, significantly
improving the quality of products. In this way, in the future, you can create more durable and, at the same
time, light parts, as well as the most complex shapes that are simply impossible using typical production
methods. In addition, bude provides more precise control over the microstructure of metals, which will
increase the reliability of products.

2. Artificial embryos
The latest invention of British scientists has almost turned the idea of how life
was created. Researchers were able to grow, using only stem cells, a mouse
embryo. At the same time, what is particularly noteworthy, there was no
traditional fertilization of the egg. Nevertheless, scientists have recognized that
this embryo at the current stage of development of science does not have any
chance of becoming a real mouse, but, nevertheless, the beginning of such
research is laid. And such experiments may well have a great future.

3. Smart cities
The idea of creating a smart city is far from new. But the numerous attempts have not
been successful: they turned out to be unnecessarily expensive, inefficient, and simply
ended up with a banal failure of deadlines. The new project of two giants, Alphabet
holding and Sidewalk Labs, radically changes the understanding of the essence of such
a problem. In collaboration with the canadian government, they are working to
improve the port waterfront in Toronto. In the near future, we plan to equip the
district using innovative technologies.

4. Artificial intelligence for everyone
Until now, artificial intelligence was considered the main toy of Baidu, Amazon, Microsoft
and Google, the largest technology companies. For others, any artificial intelligence
systems were too expensive and complex to implement fully.
Now the solution to this problem is to use so-called cloud services. The
following are the most popular among them:
- AWS from Amazon,
- - TensorFlow from Google,
- - Microsoft Azure.

5. Quantum computers
Many people expect quantum computers to appear. But first of all, probably,
chemists. After all, using such devices, they will be able to create new molecules,
new electrolytes, new proteins for more effective drugs, and much more.
The computers we are familiar with do not have enough computing power for such
technologies. But as soon as there are quantum ones, all this will become real.

All over the world, innovation is considered today as one of the main
conditions for modernizing the economy. Traditional industries have
largely exhausted both extensive and intensive development
opportunities. Therefore, in many countries, not those industries
that have recently defined the "face" of the economy of all
industrially developed countries are coming to the fore, but quite
different ones based on the use of the latest technologies.
