PLOT
S1
The main character is trying to
find a common language with her
family, cope with a recent tragedy, and
deal with a feeling of guilt by nasty
angry humor and having a one-night
stands.

everything is complicated again
because this perfect man is a Catholic
priest.

Fleabag
She is a woman in her 30s living in
London.
Yeap, we don’t know her real name.
Fleabag owns a disastrous guinea-pig
themed cafe.
Damaged inside, she slowly ruins her
life and tries to hide it from herself
with dirty jokes.
The heroine constantly breaks the
fourth wall and looks directly at the
camera, sharing with the viewer her
thoughts and emotions.

Claire
Fleabag’s highly-strung sister
Claire (Sian Clifford) is a
high-achiever and careerist.
She lives with her disgusting
alcoholic husband Martin
(Brett Gelman) and his weird
15-year-old son. She is the
only family member whose
protagonist can get along
with and even try to save
her from this toxic marriage.

Dad and
Bill
Paterson plays Fleabag's
godmother
dad, who seems to be
consumed by his new love
interest,
his
daughters'
godmother
(played
by
Oscar-winner Olivia Colman)
– eccentric, sex-obsessed
painter. She doesn’t really
like her stepdaughters and
its mutual.
Dad loves his daughters but
he scared of getting into
their problems.

The priest
Also called «cool» or «hot»
priest. One more character
without a name, played by
fabulous Andrew Scott.
He drinks and swears, but his
faith is genuinely pure and
strong.
It seems that he is the only one
who really understand the main
character
(In
a
rather
unexpected way).
