• After Harker’s recovery, while walking with his wife in London, he notices aman resembling the younger Count Dracula. Van Helsing meets the Harkers
and learns that Count Dracula is behind the murder of Lucy. The professor
manages to find out that Dracula during his lifetime was the ruler of
Wallachia – Vlad the Impaler, who lived in the 15th century and quite
possibly became a vampire due to the practice of black magic.

• Dracula infects Mina with vampirism. Van Helsing finds Dracula and,after a night battle, kills him just a few moments before sunset. With
his dead Mina is freed from her curse.

Human beings are not the crowns of creation, they are just humble
and defenseless;
• Books about vampires are extremely dynamic but, unfortunately, so
banal.
