About Popov:
Alexander Stepanovich Popov was born March
16, 1859 in the northern Urals, in the mining
village of Turinsky Rudniki, in the family of a
priest.
The family was very friendly. The elders brother Raphael and the sisters Catherine and
Mary always helped the younger ones.
Alexander, in turn, took care of the younger
sisters - Anna, Augustus and Capitoline.
