2. Puprose and tasks

So, the purpose of the course work: to make a map of the
settlements of Zavyalovsky district on Russian and Udmurt
languages.
Tasks:
1) choose settlements of Zavyalovsky district and analyze
the history of them
2) develop own font in the FontCreator program;
3) work with the font editor in the QGIS program;
4) draw up a map of settlements in the QGIS program

4. Toponymy

Toponymy is science, which learns geographical names,
their history, semantic meaning, development, spelling and
pronunciation. This science is developing with geography,
history, and ethnography.
Geographical maps without inscriptions are called mute,
because, although they have parallels and meridians, the
scale and conventional signs are indicated, they do not
give an exhaustive answer to a number of questions that
may arise.

5. Information about villages

Новая Казмаска (удм. Кадӟмас): the first resident of
the village was engaged in fishing on the Kazmask
river, his adaptation for this was a special basket,
which he called Kaz, hence the name of the modern
village of New Kazmask.

6. QGIS

QGIS is the geographic information
system QGIS, which allows you to
create your own maps, as well as
work with the font editor.
