bachelor's, specialist's and master's degrees in a certain area
of professional activity.
The higher education system in the UK includes
universities, higher education colleges and continuing
education courses. Universities are the most prestigious
universities and represent two-stage institutions (bachelormaster). Colleges usually specialize in providing bachelor's
degrees.

(5 years) or master's degree (2 years on the
basis of a bachelor's degree), postgraduate
study (3-4 years)

degree (4 years), master's degree (1-2 years),
doctoral studies (3-4 years).
