показывает, что лицо или предмет,
выраженное подлежащим, испытывает
действие на себе:
The big cake was baked by Sam.

3. Как определить залог глагола.

Форма залога показывает, является ли подлежащее в предложении
(лицо или предмет) производителем или объектом действия,
выраженного сказуемым.
Сначала нужно найти подлежащее:
The house was built by Jack.
Потом найти сказуемое:
The house was built by Jack.
Выяснить, сам ли предмет-подлежащее совершает действие.
Пассивный залог (passive voice) показывает, что лицо или предмет,
выраженное подлежащим, испытывает действие на себе.

5. Passive voice образуется с помощью глагола to be и третьей формы глагола.

to be + past participle (3-я форма глагола)
•affirmative: He was given a book
•interrogative: Was he given a book?
•negative: He wasn’t given a book.
