• Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) to reduce Nox emissions (T3 engines)
• Offset Piston Pin to reduce the piston slap, leading to less vibrations, efficient
power stroke and low noise levels
• Laser Fractured connecting rods ensuring a perfect alignment of connecting rod
and cap
• Snail shell inlet port swirls the intake air leading to better air fuel mixture and
reduces smoke level and fuel combustion
• To reduce noise level timing gear are placed in the rear of engine
• Precisely timed and controlled fuel injection (Electronic Engine only)
• Grid heater available as an option

performance may be compromised due to
increased loads
P.T.O. Operations
Before EPM will operate the following must apply:
• Engine sped above 1300 e.r.p.m.
• Tractor forward speed above 0.5 Km/h (0.3MPH).
• PTO power output is above 27 kW (36.2 hp.).
• PTO driveline torque is above 250 Nm.
Road Transport Applications
Before EPM will operate the following must apply:
16th gear or above must be selected.
Auto Transport mode selected.
Engine speed between 1800 and 2200 e.r.p.m.

Auto Shut Down
Engine shuts down automatically if:
•A critical error is detected within the engine
electronic control system
•. The generated engine horsepower attempts
to exceed the specified design limit.
•Three selectable modes – No shutdown,
always shutdown, stationary engine shutdown
