French luxury house. The
company is engaged in
manufacturing luxury bags,
accessories and clothes. Today
Louis Vuitton is one of the
world's leading international
fashion houses and is considered
one of the most high-status
brands.

THE BEGINNING OF THEBRAND
Brand's name derives from it's founder's name Louis
Vuitton, who was proficient in leather crafts from
his young age and had a dream of mastering his
field. He was so determined that he walked 400
kilometers from his hometown Franche-Comté to
Paris to study and work at Monsieur Maréchal's
atelier. After 17 years of hard labour he left his
teacher to open his own workshop.

WAY TO SUCCESSLouis Vuitton's success is a result of breakthrough in
tourism sector, that happened in the mid 19th
century, when people started to travel more. His
luggages were perfect for trips thanks to their waterrepellant properties and convenience. Soon his
products were copied by every company in the
industry.

CURRECT STATE OF AFFAIRSThe brand's fame is caused by the stability in
maintenance of quality of it's goods. For the past
century they expanded their production to
perfume manufacturing, clothes and shoes.
Nowadays the fashion house is contributing to
2015 Paris Climate Agreement in acting against
climate change by reducing their carbon footprint.

CURRECT STATE OF AFFAIRSLouis Vuitton is a sponsor of a number of major
sporting events, for example, in 1983 the company
formed the Louis Vuitton Cup, a preliminary
competition for the yacht race. As of 2007 Louis
Vuitton has been working in Russia, and USSR's last
president Mikhail Gorbachev was brand's face. In
2021 the Korean band BTS has become the global
Louis Vuitton ambassador.
