• The music industry is a set of creative and technical processes aimed at
conducting musical activities, as well as the creation, recording, storage
and distribution of musical works. The growth of the technical development
of musical media began in the XX century. The first audio carriers were
gramophone records, allowing you to record and play music using special
devices — gramophones.
• A song is the simplest but most common form of vocal music, combining a
poetic text with a melody. A song in a broad sense includes everything that
is sung, provided that the word and the melody are combined simultaneously.
The songs differ in genres, warehouse, forms of performance and other
characteristics. The song can be performed by either one singer or a choir.
The songs are sung both with and without instrumental accompaniment.
• Nowadays, the music industry has developed to such a level that musical
instruments are no longer required to create a melody, because computer
technology can recreate the sound of any instrument in any form. Performers
have also undergone changes, if we talk about young music lovers, then if
we compare the idols of the youth of previous times, we will immediately
notice enormous changes, new genres have appeared, new performers, who
nowadays are among those on whom the entire industry rests.

Nirvana
Nirvana — is an American rock band formed by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic
in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Several drummers have changed in the band; drummer Dave Grohl, who
joined Cobain and Novoselic in 1990, played with the band the longest.
In 1989, Nirvana became a part of the Seattle music scene, releasing the debut album Bleach on the independent
label Sub Pop. After signing a contract with a major label DGC Records, Nirvana gained unexpected success
with the song "Smells Like Teen Spirit" from her second album “Nevermind”, released in 1991. Subsequently,
Nirvana entered the musical mainstream, popularizing the alternative rock subgenre called grunge. Kurt Cobain
turned out to be not just a musician in the eyes of the media, but the "voice of the generation", and Nirvana
became the flagship of "generation X". In 1993, the third and last studio album of the band, In Utero, was
released, the compositions of which were musically very different from the previous works of the band.
The short but bright history of the band was interrupted due to the death of Kurt Cobain on April 5, 1994, but in
the following years the fame of the team only grew. In 2002, an unfinished demo recording of the song "You Know
You're Right", which the band was working on shortly before Cobain's death, took the first lines of the world
charts. Since the release of the debut album, Nirvana recordings has sold 75 million copies worldwide and 25
million copies in the United States.

The band's musical style
Nirvana's musical style has been mostly described as grunge, alternative rock, punk rock and hard rock. Kurt Cobain described the band's early
sound as "copying Gang of Four and Scratch Acid". When Nirvana recorded Bleach, Cobain decided that they needed to meet Sub Pop's
expectations in terms of grunge sound; this suppressed his desire to write lighter songs.
Cobain sought to create a mix of heavy and light sound. He said: "I wanted to be like Led Zeppelin, play extreme punk rock and perform slow
pop songs." When Kurt heard The Pixies Surfer Rosa album after recording Bleach, he felt that he had exactly the sound he wanted to achieve,
but could not, trying to play heavier grunge songs. The subsequent popularity of The Pixies convinced Cobain to follow his musical instincts.
Nirvana used sharp transitions from a slow, quiet sound to a loud one in her songs. Shortly before his death, Cobain said that the band was
tired of the monotonous formula of writing music, but at the same time expressed the opinion that the band members were hardly skilled
enough to try anything else. Cobain's rhythm guitar playing style, which was based on power chords, low riffs and sloppy right-handed playing,
contained the key components of the band's songs. Cobain often played the riff of a verse of a song in a clear tone, then doubled it with a
distortion guitar, repeating the already played part. He rarely performed guitar solos, which for him were light variations of the main melody of
the song. His solos were mostly based on blues and the sounds of an out-of-tune guitar.

ATC “A Touch of Class”
ATC (A Touch of Class) is a German pop group that existed in 2000-2003. The uniqueness of the group was that all the members of the collective were
representatives of different countries: Joseph Murray from New Zealand, Sarah Egglestone from Australia, Tracey Packham from the UK and Livio Salvi
from Italy. Since most of the band members were from English-speaking countries, all of the band's songs were also recorded in English. The most famous
is the first work of the group — the song Around the World, a cover of the Russian hit song of the band Hands Up (руки вверх).
The band was formed in 2000 in Germany under the name ATC, but none of the members were from Germany — all came from other countries. At an
early stage, Alex Christensen (the creator of the U96 project) provided a lot of help to the group. ATC's first single "Around The World", a cover version of
the composition of the Russian band Ruki Vverkh! "Song", turned out to be the greatest success for the ATC collective — the single took 1st place in the
national hit parade of Germany, staying at the top of the list for 6 weeks. The single sold over 1 million copies in Germany alone. Worldwide sales were so
high that in 2001-2002 the single was actively used in commercials in Canada and the USA. In the UK and the USA, the song entered the Top 40 of the
best hits of 2000. In subsequent years, parodies and cover versions were repeatedly made for the song under different names.
The band's debut album "Planet Pop" was released on February 6, 2001 by Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Republic Records, and was met with
some success, taking the 56th position in the US consolidated chart. Most of the songs from the album were written by Alex Christensen in collaboration
with the German composer Clyde Ward, for which he was nominated for the ECHO Awards. The ATC group itself received the award for the best dance
performance.

Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor and entrepreneur.

went four times platinum. In 2019, he was included in the list of the highest paid musicians according to Forbes magazine.
Drake's lyrics often bring up themes of wealth, fame, and past relationships. “Allmusic” describes Drake's moods: search, thoughtfulness, introspection,
reflection, self-confidence, drama, seriousness, energy, humor, intensity, ease/softness, literacy, melancholy, nostalgia, playfulness, smoothness,
sensuality, cordiality. Most hip-hop listeners label Drake's sound "soft" for his sincere and merciful lyrics and soul melodies. He rejected it, saying, "I am
not soft. I'm just not one of those people who is emotionally closed.". Most of Drake's work includes elements of both rap and singing, which made him
unique as an artist. Drake even called himself "the first person to successfully rap and sing." He went further than his statement, saying: "I am one of the
few artists who remain themselves every day. I don't have to spend six hours to get ready, and I don't get up in the morning, I don't memorize how to
behave or how to speak. I'm just being me. This is one of the favorite parts of my life — I did it cleanly, remaining myself.“.

Lil peep — Gustav Elijah Ar
Gustav Elijah Ar, born November 1, 1996, Allentown, Pennsylvania — better known by his stage name Lil Peep, is a Swedish—American rapper, singer,
songwriter and model. He was called one of the first musicians of the post-emo revival, and his style of hip-hop performance became known as emo rap.
Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and raised in Long Island, New York. Lil Peep started releasing music on SoundCloud in 2014 using the pseudonym Lil
Peep, as his mother called him "Peep" "baby bird" when he was a child. He soon became popular on SoundCloud after releasing several mixtapes and
collaborating with Lil Tracy, which led him to a cult following. On August 15, 2017, he released his debut album "Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1". After
Lil Peep's death, "Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1" entered the Billboard 200 at number 168 and reached position 38 the following week. Lil Peep
got the highest position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in October 2018 with the track "Falling Down" from XXXTentacion, which reached the 13th position.
The single was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on November 8, 2018, marking Lil Peep's first gold certification. His
second studio album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2, was released posthumously on November 9, 2018 and debuted at number 4 on the Billboard
200, becoming his first album from the top 10 of the US album chart.
Lil Peep used drugs due to mental health issues that eventually led to his death on November 15, 2017.

Oleg Viktorovich Nechiporenko, born May 21, 1989, Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR, better known by the stage name Kizaru, is a Russian hip—hop artist.
Originally from St. Petersburg, lives in Barcelona. Member and founder of the creative association "Haunted Family".
To a greater extent, Oleg is best known for his music in post-Soviet countries.
Oleg started his way to a recognized rap artist in 2009. At first, his idols were Dealt (Kirill Tolmatsky), Smokey Mo (Alexander Tsikhov), the group "Caste"
and inspired classical hip-hop. He listened to New York supergroups Boot Camp Clik, Heltah Skeltah, underground O.G.C. After listening to one of the
albums of the rap collective Three 6 Mafia, his musical taste changed, and he became a fan of the performers of the south coast of the USA.
He took the stage name Kizaru after the Admiral of the Sea Patrol from his favorite anime series "One piece".
After moving to Spain, he continued his work. In particular, he released a video work for the song "Nobody is needed"(nikto ne nuzhen), which by 2018
had gained more than ten million views on his YouTube channel, and a clip for the song "Rush Hour"(chas pick), which told about his life in a foreign
country.
At the beginning of 2017, the English-language EP "Long Way Up" was released, aimed at a foreign audience. In addition to the track of the same name, it
contained two more compositions with life-affirming titles "I Don't Ask I Just Take" ("Я не спрашиваю, я просто беру") and "Stay Positive" ("Оставайся
позитивным").
