The name of the BTS stands for BangTanSonyeondan or Bangtan Boys from Korean. In
Korean: 방탄소년단, which translates into Russian
as Bulletproof Guys.
Initially, the English name BangTan Sonyeondan stood
for Bulletproof Boy Scouts (Bulletproof Boy Scouts).
But in 2017, the abbreviation changed to Beyond
the Scene (On the other side of the stage).

Following the name Bulletproof, the originalBTS logo depicted a bulletproof vest.
But in 2017, after the name change, the BTS sign also
changed. Now the BTS emblem consists of two parts:
part of the BTS is an open door from the outside and part
of the Army (BTS fans) is an open door from the inside.
The logo metaphorically depicts the path of the band and fans
to each other. Also, the BTS sign means wings.
