1 We use superlative adjectives to compare one person, thing, place or situation to the
whole group or category it belongs to.
1 The tallest building in London is The Shard.

2 We usually put the before superlative adjectives.
1 The beaches in the north are the most beautiful.

We follow these spelling rules.

1 Some superlative adjectives are irregular, they don’t follow the spelling rules.

2 bad – worse – worst
3 far – farther/further – farthest/furthest
4 much/many – more – most
