Excess Liability Coverage:
Requirements
Excess Liability - coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage to
others (3rd party) in excess of the primary general, auto or garage
liability coverage.
NOTE:
MUST SEE A COMBINATION OF $1,000,000
BETWEEN THE AUTO LIABILITY AND THE
EXCESS LIABILITY FOR TRACTORS TRAILERS AND$500,000 FOR TRUCKS.

•Physical Damage - Coverage for damage to PTL
vehicles. This coverage may be noted in several
places on the certificate, including the
Automobile Liability , Other or Description
sections. Please note that if the scheduled autos
box is checked in the Auto Liability section, the
vehicles must be listed on the certificate to be
covered.
•Comp and Collision Deductibles must be listed
on the certificate.
•Comp & Collision coverage limits may be listed
for a specific limited amount or for Actual Cash
Value(ACV). Limited coverage must exceed the
value of the rented vehicle(s).
•Loss Payee - Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P.
must be listed as a loss payee in the description
section of the certificate unless the customer is
self-insured for physical damage. If self-insured,
a letter must be obtained from the customer
stating self-insured status and the appropriate
PTL admin center Credit Dept. for approval.
