Conditional 0
Выражает факты, законы природы;
Требует использования грамматического времени Present Simple
и в главной, и в придаточной (IF) части.
• If a person consumes orange food, their body fights off infections
better.
• If you don’t drink much water, you get dry skin.
• If we follow a low-carbohydrate diet, we get tiredness.
• If people don’t eat foods rich in vitamin C, they have frequent
illnesses.
• We always feel energetic if we aren’t overweight.

2.

Conditional 1
Выражает возможность совершения действия в БУДУЩЕМ при
определенных обстоятельствах.
Требует использования Present Simple в придаточной (IF) части и
Future Simple в главной части.
• If Harry consumes orange food, his body will fight off infections
better.
• If you don’t drink much water, you will get dry skin.
• If we don’t follow a low-carbohydrate diet, we will get tiredness.
• If Alice doesn’t eat foods rich in vitamin C, she will have frequent
illnesses.

Conditional 2
Выражает воображаемую, нереальную ситуацию в настоящем.
Требует использования Past Simple в придаточной (IF) части и
future-in-the-past в главной части.
• If Harry consumed more orange food, his body would fight off
infections better.
• If you didn’t drink much water, you would have dry skin.
• If we didn’t follow a low-carbohydrate diet, we would have
tiredness.
• If Alice didn’t eat foods rich in vitamin C, she would have more
frequent illnesses.
