Kandura
• The traditional attire of Arab
sheikhs typically includes a
flowing white robe known
as a "kandura" or
"dishdasha." This long robe
is not only a symbol of
simplicity but also serves to
keep the wearer cool in the
hot desert climate.

3.

Headwear
• Arab sheikhs often wear
a head covering known
as the "ghutrah" or
"keffiyeh," which is
secured in place by an
"agal." The agal is a
black cord-like circlet
that helps keep the
headscarf in position
and can also indicate
the wearer's tribal
affiliation.

4.

Accessories
• Arab sheikhs may
wear various
accessories,
including rings,
watches, and
cufflinks, which are
often luxurious and
serve as status
symbols.

5.

Footwear
• Traditional
footwear for Arab
sheikhs includes
++leather, known
as "ghutrah."

6.

Turbans
• Some Arab sheikhs,
especially those from
certain regions, may
opt for wearing turbans
instead of the ghutrah.
Turbans come in
different styles and can
be quite elaborate,
reflecting personal and
regional preferences.

7.

Luxury Fabrics
• While the kandura is
traditionally made from
lightweight and
breathable fabrics like
cotton or linen, some
sheikhs may opt for
more luxurious
materials like silk for
special occasions or
when they want to
make a statement.
