The system of branded Transport Services (SFTO) was
established by the Ministry of Railways of the Russian
Federation in 1996 to form a marketing policy and
implement railway transport services in the field of
freight transportation. In the process of reforming the
federal railway transport, the SFTO became part of JSC
"Russian Railways" as a marketing and sales structure
of Russian Railways.

transport, the SFTO became part of JSC "Russian
Railways" as a marketing and sales structure of
Russian Railways. SFTO works as a "one window",
providing a full cycle of interaction with customers
when forming and executing orders for cargo
transportation, and also carries out contractual work
with forwarding organizations, owners of railway
rolling stock and other participants in the transport
market.

SFTO provides services for the organization and
implementation of cargo transportation, the use of
public railway transport infrastructure owned by JSC
"Russian Railways" for the transportation of goods;
organizes and conducts contractual work with
forwarding organizations, other infrastructures, also
provides information and other additional services.
