Welcome to the Russian Federation – IAEA
Advanced Nuclear Energy Management School.
Please refer to the following information regarding the

participation.

The St Petersburg branch of Rosatom Tech is located
near "Pionerskaya" subway (metro) station.

ENTRY RULES
Citizens of countries, who require a visa, will be
provided with an official invitation registered in the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia with a telex
number.
As of 21st October 2022 Russia has removed the
requirement to present a negative PCR test.
Random testing may still take place on arrival in Russia.
Check with your airline before you travel to keep up to
date with the latest requirements.

TRANSFER
Upon arrival in St Petersburg, you will be provided with
a free transfer from the airport to the hotel. A taxi
driver will meet you at the airport with the following
sign:
ROSATOM-IAEA
After the School, you will be provided with a free
transfer to the airport. Please, send to a local
coordinator your flight details as soon as possible
in order to arrange transfers.

ACCOMODATION
Rosatom Tech has been able to secure a special offer for
your comfortable stay in St Petersburg and reserved for
you a single comfort room at the Best Western Zoom
Hotel, from July 7th to July 13th:

Petersburg (15 min walk by Rosatom Tech);

• Price: 3800 RUB per night;
• Check-in: July 7th after 14:00;
• Check-out: July 13th after 12:00.
As for April 1st, 2024, a tourist tax was introduced in St
Petersburg. Be prepared to pay an additional 100 RUB per
night at the hotel.
Please inform the local coordinator if you would like
to cancel the booking and stay at a different hotel.

MONEY
EXCHANGE
Foreign debit and credit cards do NOT work in
Russia.
You should be prepared to pay ONLY IN CASH (only
in RUB). We advise you to exchange some currency at
the airport in order to be able to pay for the first night
at the hotel.
On Monday, July 08th you will be accompanied to the
bank to exchange EUR/USD into RUB.

MEAL SERVICE
Rosatom Tech's catering service will provide you with two
coffee breaks during the day in accordance with the
Training Course programme.
Should you have lunch and refreshment after the
meetings, there are plenty of places to take a break
outside the venue:
