The Cabot Trail34.
The Cabot Trail is ahighway and road
that runs amidst
amazing scenery. It
is located in the
province of Nova
Scotia, which is in
the eastern part of
the state. The trail
passes through the
counties of Victoria
and Inverness - on
Cape Breton Island.
The Cabot Trail has a
total length of 298
kilometers.

Cabot, an Italian
navigator who
discovered the
coast of Canada in
1497. Cabot's
discovery of the
island led to it's
eventual
settlement by
Europeans, mainly
by the Scots, Irish,
French and
English.

1926.
Not until 1932 did
Reverend R.L.
MacDonald become
the first person to
drive the Cabot Trail.
