1. Even if: Stresses that the condition doesn’t matter. The condition may happen, but
the result will be the same: Even if video calls improve, talking in person is much
nicer.
2. Only if, providing / provided (that), as/so long as, on condition that: Show the result
or effect will happen when a specific condition becomes true. No other condition
will have this result: I’ll lend you my phone, only if / provided / providing / as/so long
as / on condition that you promise to return it soon.
3. 3 Unless: Describes a possible negative condition in the present or future = “except
if” or “if … not.”: We can’t reach an agreement unless you communicate more
openly
